The Great Toy Rescue and the Santa Lost a Few events were started in Christmas of 2025, hosted by Will Testa Home Remodeling Inc, supported and sponsored by other contracting companies.

Seeing the success, Will formed the nonprofit Contractors Care Inc, in order to facilitate the growth and expansion of The Great Toy Rescue.

“As far as the why behind it - we always had a great Christmas growing up. You couldn't walk through our living room because there were so many presents. When my parents split and my father moved out, it was my mom, brother, sister, and my nephew and niece. So we all kind of played Santa to make sure the kids had the same experience, and me being the oldest (and maybe least fiscally responsible) decided it needed to be over the top. I want that same thing for other kids, a memorable Christmas - some of my most memorable times.”
